recording demos

I'm trying my skills as a moviemaker. Quality is great, but all of my avis are terribly slow. When i start to record it slows down as normally, but the outcome is as if i used timescale 0.6. I don't want to use higher timescale than 1, it won't look normally, i remember one guy having the same prob, he pressed ESC before recording and it worked, not at my case :<

Check if the amount of FPS you used to capture is the same as the amount you used to render.

when ur making an avi out of ur TGA shots in virtual dub go to video > framerate, change it to the value u used for cl_avidemo.
And yes press esc once when u start watching the demo, because its set to timescale 0.0 or something when u start watching, it has to be 1.0
