Capturing

Im abit new to this,
I captured at 40fps (cuz thats the biggest my 70gig free space hd can handle),
made it an avi at 30fps with vdub. Now when i render it at vegas i get slowmotion and i can even see the interleaving.

What did i do wrong, and is there nay formula for this, to do it right?

gogo pro-moviemakers! :)

not rillay sure, but isch think u have to use the same framerate @ vdub as in ur cl_avidemo, so that would be 40, when rendering in vegas then (after editing) u can change fps.
if u capture with 40, u have to set 40 in vdub... 1:1
no.
have you ever made a movie?

yes.
I did QkR - The Terrible (my 1st movie... nothing special) and im working in another one now, that will be very very different (better i mean). -> testclip of quality http://www.beta-gaming.de/et/ag0n/asd.mp4

well, but it you still dont need to take the same framerate in vdub as you took for cl_avidemo.
if you take cl_avidemo 200 and framerate in vdub 100, your clip will be too slow.
but if you open it in vegas, you can just double the playing speed and its alright ;)

btw

you have been owned by low- :p

//EDIT

i know you are making tests atm, and arent bad at moviemaking, <3 irony :p

i know that thing (-max- did it in decimated), but it sux , and it means some math (in 40fps example).
