Displayrefresh missing...

So i used to play at 100hz, but i took my pc to the compshop to get it cleaned out. No idea what they did to it, but when i got it back, i couldnt get anything higher than 85hz.

Ive tried different gfx drivers and stuff, any ideas?

no even lowest is at 85hz :/
before i could get 100 @ r_mode 8

in nvidia setting you can specify custom rates but i have no idea where the others went :p if your using ati im even more useless!

think so, it's your monitor who tells which Hz you can get... and the CRT monitor are the monitors who can get the highest hz, and since laptop got tft monitors...

I know but I thought tft's could go up to 75 hz ;) at least my tft which I use for my pc can do that

Dunno but Ronner just laughed at me when I told him I played at default hz (60) and told me to change it to 75 because it's better..

it's true, it doesn't matter if u got 60 or 75 on TFT, I barely noticed the difference. But ofc TFTs are worse for gaming than CRTs

u should always have an external 21" CRT when u are using your laptop. As a body builder u can easily make it :)

you can use a registry hack to allow the 'unsafe' refresh rates
