Help needed.

I just bought my brand new Logitech MX518, and I can't get it working.

When I plug it into the USB Port and run the PC, the red light appears for about 20 seconds and then the mouse "dies".

What should I do?

so it seems u dont follow the instructions in the right way OR ur mouse is crushed or smth :P

Man, I never tried to do such things.

I didn't meet this problem during the time I used my old mouse - MS IE 4.0

tested on different usb ports ?

hmmm maybe just change the polling rate maybe it will work anyways i dont know maybe try the mouse on a diffrent pc :x

buy a new computer with decent usb ports

try to delete drivers from system in CP. after that dl latest one and install it agen
