deathadder (need Mztik)

I'm going to buy a new mouse and I was thinking about deathadder and mx518. I'd buy the deathadder if it weren't for terrible mouse feet.

1. A question to all DA users: what do you do to minimize friction?

2. There was a problem with scaping the mousepad because bottom of the mouse sticked out a bit. Has it been fixed?

3. Question to people who bought deathadder RECENTLY. What was the version of firmware you had just after the purchase?

4. Is there an option to run the DA in 125Hz?


Also if you are having any issues with your DA I'd like to hear it.

My deathadder works perfect with newest firmware, Steelgear padsurfers and steelpad 5L.

the idea of the mouse is nice, to put it in an ms 3.0 shape but it still sucks, dunno why :/

because u dont get a stable poling rate i checked my diamond back 499-500 by moving my mouse constant . the DA got 30 - 500 always on the same speed dunno why but maybe thats the reason :/

Try setting your sens lower than you are used to, it worked for me.

no friction issues here tbh, and yes u can run it at 125hzz (atleast i can). The only prob i have with this mouse is that my mouse3 is bound to weaponbank 2 and this button can be a bitch to press infight without scrolling.

1. the friction is pretty bad if you comapre the stock-glides with hyperglides , so i put 7 mx518 hyperglidey on my mouse worx nice

5. i dunno why but i dont get any mousefeeling with the DA played before with MX518 & Diamondback and both was way better dunno why

friction? never noticed it. I use icemat tape so perhaps that helps. 125hz is possible

i just use everglide titan, which has a little friction on it and my mouse isnt even wearing down unlike my mx518 :D
