Teflon Tape :o

So I finally went out and bought some teflon tape from the supply store. This is the plumbing teflon tape, not tape made for mice. Basically its VERY thin and has no adhesive. Ive tried putting a clear nail polish on the mouseskate and then applying the tape over that but it doesnt work well. I dont want to put glue on my mouseskates XD Any ideas?

Ive used selotape before, at the moment I have no mouse feet and just constantly keep my mat and mouse surface as clean as possible to stop friction.
