22 inch widesreen monitor

Evening. I was wondering if someone that has the appropriate knowledge and has the time on his hands to help me a bit :D! Ok, thing is that i bought myself a 22 inch widescreen monitor a while ago, and what im thinking about (and asking you to help me with) is what preferances are best for htat type of monitor (resoloution etc...) i have a Gforce turbo cache 6200 :p so is uppose the res cant be to high
