I wouldn't get a bnc from some random person.

He can spy you, steal your auth, etc. Well, whatever.

your traffic is routed thru his server so he can do whatever he wants.
there are special modified bnc servers for this purpose.

you don't even need those, you could just dump the traffic with tcpdump, wireshark or sth
