One of the most important political persons of our country talks about some marihuana law, but he doesn't really know what is marihuana made of. When the reporter said it's made of hemp, he said "Hmm...really? I don't think so. At least I have never heard such things."

my shoes are made from hemp.
hemp is a fiber which is made from the cannabis plant.
albeit the same, hemp is, *i thinks*, more frequently used when talking about the fiber whereas marihuana is allocated within the illegal substances list.
still the same plant though.
