Hi,
I had a little discussion with vis about ingame resolution.
He sais that you play better with low resolution/r_mode, that some guy told him that you shoot more headshots.
I think that you play better with high resolution/r_mode because you see more details etc.
So my question towards you guys is, with what resolution/r_mode do you guys play and is your gameplay dependable on resolution or is it all in the head?
Thanks in advance :>

and resolution is a personal taste, there is no so called "best resolution" just pick one you like most.
You are playing for a while with r_mode 8, now go on a empty server type /r_mode 4 and do a vid restart, you'll know what i mean :D
it just looks ugly
=P lets stop this discussion
mode 4 gives me the most hz, but i find it kinda hard to hit targets at long distance with that resolution, so i use 6.
6 is a nice balance between high hz and being able to hit targets at long distance imo
using mode 8 decreases my hz with 20, and that really sucks if you're used to play with your old hz
On a TFT the other hand its maximum 75, what resolution you take ...
My resolution is r_mode 8 ( ET and Windowns ) becasue that the resolution that is best for my TFT ... ANd its only giving me 70 hz ... dunno why , prolly because its in digital imput
Abbreviation of cathode-ray tube, the technology used in most televisions and computer display screens. A CRT works by moving an electron beam back and forth across the back of the screen. Each time the beam makes a pass across the screen, it lights up phosphor dots on the inside of the glass tube, thereby illuminating the active portions of the screen. By drawing many such lines from the top to the bottom of the screen, it creates an entire screenful of images.
TFT =
Short for thin film transistor, a type of LCD flat-panel display screen, in which each pixel is controlled by from one to four transistors. The TFT technology provides the best resolution of all the flat-panel techniques, but it is also the most expensive. TFT screens are sometimes called active-matrix LCDs.
