Airports

Are so fustrating
My limit is 20KG, my suitcase is 5KG
every 1KG over you're meant to be charged $40, I got no money and my suitcase in total weighs at 28KG <_<

I've sorted some stuff out, I have 3 bags as 'hand luggage' so far, and taken out 70% of my clothing and it's still 23/24KG :<

Does anyone know stuff about airport baggage allowances and do you think I'd get away with either 24 or 28?

The thing I don't understand is, I'm 65KG and some big lad say 160KG still gets the same allowance as me.
Discrimination against the smaller people imo :C

put on 5 boxershorts, 10 pair of socks, two trousers and three t-shirts and 2 pants

should save you like 2 kg.

they only enforce this if its a packed flight, you might get lucky

depends on the airline as well - some always enforce it for the extra monies it gives them...

The airline is Singapore airlines, so it wasn't a low budget flight as such

As for Tosspots post, as for the 6 times i've flown with Singapore airlines I guess 85-90% of the plane is full.

I've decided to go there as soon as the check-in opens, my Aunty is coming with me, if I can't get things through I'll take stuff out and ship by seas :X
