I think there are screws under the feet, you need to remove them first

there are screws, two under the upper two mousefeet's protector tape, and one under the lower two mousefeet's protector tape.

breaking those will void your waranty. Not saying you shouldnt proceed, but If you still got a bill try to get a refund or just a replacement.
