ur gfx-card is probably overheated, try buying another gpu-fan in the store (be sure to check the size of your gpu-fan and ur gpu-type) and see if it helps, it costs nearly nothing...

This looks like a GPU overheating problem.

- Try re-installing your GPU drivers. If that doesn't work, look below!

- How is your GPU cooled? Passive or active?

For passive: Clean the heatsink, but make sure you don't fuck it up! Also get the big pieces of dust of your GPU, and again be carefull.

For active: Take of the fan(if possible), and remove the dust.

If it's still giving weird colors after that, I would say that it's fubar.

What kind of GPU do you have?

for me that happens when i set my graphics to highest possible and use etminimizer to go windows and when io come back to et thats what i see.. for me helps doing vid_restart. dunno about you.

exactly the same thing happened to me, it was the card overheating...

"-overheating" - i had same last year, clear graph card first, if wont help - get better cooler.

I had this problem and its overheating. Dont bother with updating drivers etc as it just wont help. At the end of the day you can prelong the dieing of you graphics card through the use of house hold fans or opening the case. But at the end of the day a new graphics card will be needed.

disclaimer: I do not definetly know its over heating as it aint my system so its up to you too find out. Maybe google some heat fans displayers etc.

Last summer got those things going on if I had my computer going uptime for many days.

For me those graphic errors would disappear when I just turned off my computer and let her cool for a few hours. Not promising it's gonna work tho.

had that aswell, gfx card appeared to be broke and my powersupply aswell... gl though :/

overheating. if your pc sux as much as mine, just remove the case and direct a fan onto it :P
