ET @ 4fps

Hi there,

I just reinstalled ET for some nice ETTV-Action.

After joining the Server my eyes nearly popped out as I saw my framecounter saying "4 FPS".

My System is supposed to perform at least 10 FPS !!!11 :D

just kidding....

Can anyone of u guys help me out of this annoying situation?

it is prolly cuz you dont have a decent config yet, i had same problem as well when i startd playing et again, with random config you really get owned, but decent config + FRAPS your fps is stable at 100 at least (if you have bad machine like me)

sry but how does fraps help you to get fps?

it doesn't as far as i know... if anything it makes your fps worse

it helps you get stable fps when you are having drops, and with a new config you can pimp your fps, and with fraps you can get it stable
