For this weekend because of "juhannus", the mid-summer fest. We shall take some beer + bbq meat + try to have some = fun. Please contact us later, sunday or monday maybe.
Some history: It all begun in the year 1697 when Johannes Jaakonpoika (finnish farmer) discovered that it is more fun to be drunk on summer than sober. It spread to the whole country, little by little. Somewhere in 19th century we decided that it is more fun to drink with each other, so we all got drunk. And it was settled to be on late june when the weather is nice. By now ~55,8% of adult population of Finland respects and obeys this noble and non-religious heritage. And some of the youngers too.
So kippis, cheers, proost, santé, cin cin, na zdrowie, skål and zum wohl for all!
(If you meet a sober finn this weekend he/she is either a useless nolifer or he/she has some Swedish blood in his/her veins. Shame on him.)
