Quake Wars Wallpaper

The last few days, I frequently commented on the wallpapers created by crossfire users for a Quake Wars Beta key.
After commenting a few wallpapers, one told me, if you know so much, show us your creative skills. At that time I didn't have much time at my hand, but now it's weekend, and I was bored, so I was like why not?. Didn't spent much time on this one though, but imo it turned out rather nice.
I created a 1280x720, a 1024x576, and a 800x450 one. When you apply this wallpaper to your desktop, make sure it's set to center, otherwise you get this ugly stretched effect, or you see it multiple times which looks rather noob.

ps. I know the competition is over, but I actually don't care, I fucking hate QuakeWars and don't need a key ;)

I know, as how elenaar wrote in the comment below, that the red Quake Wars text doesn't fit in, but since the whole wallpaper should show that it's Quake Wars, I had no other choise than to make it a bit more red so that it wouldn't ruin the whole image, but that it would still attract attention...

also by bledning in 'crossfire' into a wall you don't show much creativity
btw, I didn't only "blend" crossfire in the wall

The "blending" of the crossfire logo isn't just blending either, took me like 5 minutes or smth to get it like this (details my friend, details...)
2) adding two big black bars for the love of art? 1 min.
3) adding some random filters with random settings? 5min.
4) playing around with opacity and a logo? 1 min. (thx to Ruipperi)
Saving it as an png (?!) and calling it a piece of art on xfire?
Timeless.

seriously, show some work you made, or just hush (ps, want the psd? lots of layers merged though, but I guess you with ur uberskillz can find that out!)

If you make a song, I can criticise it even though I haven't made any songs.
So when someone is saying that your texts at the pic were ugly, they don't have to make pics themselves, as you were replying "plzzzz show your work plszzz"
and actually i would like to make you read the whole stuff again and make new decision about who is mature.

The thing is, people always tend to think creativity = throwing as much shit in as you can. In my opinion, creativity is being able to create something which will look good to people, not throwing as many shit in as you can and say now it looks nice. Clean can be nice to. More is less, less is more...
