Bayern Munich have signed German international striker Miroslav Klose from Bundesliga rivals Werder Bremen.
The 29-year-old had just one year remaining on his deal with Werder Bremen and the club decided to sell him on for an undisclosed fee.
Klose has agreed a four-year deal with Bayern, who failed to qualify for this season's Champions League.
But the German side have still signed Franck Ribery and Luca Toni among their eight summer signings so far.
Ze Roberto, Jose Ernesto Sosa, Marcell Jansen, Jan Schlaudraff and Hamit Altintop are the other new arrivals.
Klose was the top scorer at the 2006 World Cup which was held in his home country.
bayern smells pretty much imo
