Any gameplay reasons why Strogg Medic takes, what, 3-4 slowmo seconds to revive a buddy, while GDF Medic can do it quick style like in ET?

It kinda balances it out with Strogg spawnhosts allowing strogg to spawn a lot closer to the action than GDF.

combined with the fact strogg medics give both health and ammo, and lots of it.

You can pick up both, ammo and health, with the medipack of the stroggs. I think that's the reason.

Dunno, on maps where Strogg is attacking, they'll sure miss those quick revives when things are tight and need to keep pushing?

Yes they do afaik, their are both maps where strogg defend and strogg attack according to Locki, I think he said it in a few interviews and at the latest IRC dsicussion :<
