Upgrading

Hello Crossfire! The weather outside is something to be desired.

I have got some money (Lucky me!) and I want to upgrade my computer I have. Don't want to buy a new one, just upgrade two things.

The first is the hard drive as I have 20gb hard drive at the moment (other one broke so had to use this back up, have been using it for nearly a year now :< )

So I heard that a SATA internal hard drive was the one to go for (suggestions?!).

The second thing I want to upgrade is my graphic card. I am running on NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE, and barley get stable 76 fps at ET. I was think of another Gefore card maybe the 6800? The problem is i don't have PCI Express, anyone know of a good card which I could get stable 125 on and which is not PCI Express.

And just for information my setup:

Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz
2.54 GHz
512 MB of RAM

get some new RAM aswell tbh;<
buy another 512/1 gb ram its cheap atm :D
got the same cpu and a 7600gt, 125 fps on most parts of most maps :D

edit: btw rather save your money and get a new pc in half a year or something, better then wasting 200 € in an old one, which you'll propably trash in 1 or 2 years :p
Is a 7600gt on PCI-Express?

EDIT: I prob wont buy new computer so just want to upgade this one:<
you can get agp and pci-e versions

I have a 6600GT (AGP) and stable fps over 100
You can also get AGP versions of the 6000 series but it isnt said that you will get your stable fps with it for sure because ET is a game that needs more CPU then AGP power.
Get GeForce 7600 GT @ AGP. Cheap and good :)
Going to buy GeForce 7600 GT @ AGP and some more ram + new SATA hard drive thanks for the advice crossfire! <3
