I'm going to format, putting everything on my external harddisk. A short summary:


Music: check

Porn: i never save porn

Movies: check

Config: check

Most of the maps: check

Demos: check

Some pics: check

My mousesettings: check

Any other things that could be useful? °°_

put the et installer file on n patch etc so you dont have to get it, and any other apps like photoshop or smth so you dont have to re dl them

mirc or nn (especially when u have bnc), vent & TS ip's, music, pics, vids, ET (just copy to external hd), other programs with rather personal settings, ...

will make it a lot easier for u after ur format..

The entire ET-folder? Atm i've only copied my configs and some maps so do I don't have to download them again.

I have these annoying bugs when I watch my demos and when I connect to a server I sometimes have these shitskins... so I think it would be better to not copy my entire ET-folder.. or..?

Btw what do you mean with "mIRC or NN"?

I'm going to have to reinstall it anyway so..

yeh, when u have those stupid errors in ET, its obviously better you just save ur config, demos and main maps.. But I just copied my whole wolfenstein enemy territory map the last time

[dutch] vrij belachelijk dat belgen hier onder elkaar een beetje moeten in het engels converseren, gisteren kreeg ik nog een 1 day ban [dutch]

anyway a format is never fun.. but sometimes very necesarry

The last few weeks my comp doesn't really run as smooth as he was supposed to do when I bought him. It often takes ages to connect, have many FPS-lags, etc.. (allthough he's only 1.5 years old)

[dutch]Idd die "language rules' zijn gewoon hilarisch, en zeker dat ze daarvoor mensen bannen..

Btw wa bedoelde ge nu met da mIRC / NN? Kunde da NNscript opslaan fzo of..?[dutch]

well one time i forgot to save all my schoolwork
so, if you have any, save your documents aswell

you might also want to download the latest drivers already, so you can just install them after the format (especially your modem/LAN driver)

save your ventrilo/hlsw/all seeing eye ips maybe?
