ping probs bio

hey the topic says all..
when i wanna play at bio my ping is like 120 all the time.
on almost every other server i got my stable 48. only bio!!
wtf? anybody know how this could be?!

2nd question: when i turn on my external hard drive my pc doesnt recognize it anymore.
anybody know how i can recover my files on it? :/
