Quake Wars FPS

I installed the Quake Wars beta and started playing yesterday (I didn't get chance to play pre-patch)

My computer specs are:

CPU: Intel Core Duo 2.33 Ghz
Graphics: nVidia Geforce 9700GTX
Memory: 2GB DDR2 RAM

On default config - when I first begin the game - I get a whopping 10fps in-game. I have lowered every setting to low and I get the same 10fps. I have tried putting every setting on maximum and get the same 10fps.

I have unlocked my maxfps in my config
I have installed the latest graphics drivers
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times

Is this a well known problem? Anyone have a solution?

Dude u said 10 fps ? I have CPU: Intel Core Duo 2.13 Ghz (overcl. to 3.2 GHz), 1 GB RAm @ 800 MHz and G-Force 7600 GT @ 256 MB and i have set limit to 120 FPS only when server is full 12v12 in combat i have some drops to 90 FPS so if u have better PC how the hell u have 10 fps ? oO

Yeah exactly, this is the problem.

I don't know why, I should be having much more FPS :(
