He was busted for having a file in his etfolder, which is used by cheats. He brought on some believable proofs that someone recommend him to place the file there to fix a problem. But they are all not valid so...

the file wasn´t part of a hack. punkbuster didnt say anything about a hack i think? it just gave the msg "opengl.dll file in folder". the file was used by many hacks but if it would be a part of a hack , there would be a msg with the name or a msg that it was hack.
right? :>

there was a opengl32.dll ins my et-folder.
1. its not a part of a hack. there was just a pb warning for an opengl.dll but not for a hack. if it would be a part of a hack , pb would say that.

2. this file was in my folder beacuse of an opengll error. i googled around and also asked friend via icq/msn for help. some guys told me that the file was maybe crashed or smth and to download a new one. others told me just to put it into the et/rtcw folder.

3. more then 2 years ago

just want to say , if i would hack , i would use hacks since more then 2 years without any suspicious avi´s,screens,... and i also didn´t made any skill-boosts in my clanhistory.

strange stuff = isn´t cheat / hack.. thought about a damaged file ? the pb-warn just said that there is a file.. but not that it is a part of a hack or a hack.

the game does not consider himself a hack/cheat so strange stuff detected inside game directory = cheat/hack attempt at least
