Same size + Same resolution = same dot pitch (0.282 mm)
tfts and crts are completely different. most tfts use a fixed (usually 60hz) refresh rate, changing it might/will result in worse performance.
furthermore the more important factor is the response time. see if you can find a review (of the tft) where they tested the response time. because the response time given by the manufacturer is just the peak value which they achieved under optimal settings. the real performance might very well be far worse (talking about 20-30ms here).
maybe hard to get used to but it's still fine
(at least... on a 2ms g2g 22" lcd)
