Yeah the buzz around this project is amazing. The teaser is pretty sweet aswell.

It is the new project of JJ "Lost, Alias & MI:3" Abrahams work-titled Cloverfield. At first Paramount denied the xistence but now more and more info about the movie is leaking. Turns out shooting had already begon using nothing but handheld cameras.

Yeah all they had to do was releasy a very cryptic trailer and some webby, peoples imagination did the rest. Ah did you read some production details that were on www.trailerspy.com :D

i have to admit it got me hooked yesterday for like 3 hours - but now after i have found a bit and read again a few things about lovecraft i really get tired and honestly i reached a point where i just want to forget about everything again and only want to watch the movie when it comes out and i hope i havent read too much already so i havent spoiled it for me yet

ps: thanks now i ve read read your link and i am interested again - pfff "damn you" :P - it reminds me when i first saw the 1998 godzilla trailer back then and i was just like on a coffein trip i really WANTED to know how it was going to look like and then the hype destroyed the move :( damn marketing guys

It is going to be so hard to:
a) keep this hype going
b) fufill expectations

Nevertheless it got alot of people interested, and at the release date people will recall this whole hype and probaly tell friends about it. A thing the movie will undoubtly benefit from :)

Going to stop reading the 1000s of comments aswell though :p

the best thing they could do - dont show anything els until its finished - maybe 1 photo on that website each month - just random shots from the trailer - nothing else - the internet geeks will draw their own conclusions and thats it - hehe

btw i don't think the date will be the release date - this date is poison for major movies and the inserts on the fotos show that this will be the date those things described in the trailer will happen - it would be a good title anyway cheers
