Tim Willits: Well we'll have more to talk about at QuakeCon but I can't tell you exactly. It's a long ways out. It's not as much my thing so I'm not too sure what the exact plans are for QuakeCon.

id is not stupid, they won't make the same game as etqw with different skins, bad for business </IMHO>
etqw has to be considered as a new franchise now, as quake, doom and wolfenstein

Yes, but if someone says, that the new game will have almost the same gameplay as the old one, I think I can trust him. I trusted them one time, I won't do it anymore.

They will! Same as ET. There is only one difference... they were saying, that QW will be the same game as ET, just with some new options... now they say, that RTCW 2 (or however this will be named) will be a "different game".

its gonna be a crap game for competition anyways cause there wont be any game silimar to rtcw / et anymore imo
as long as the public gamers are the most profitable fount for the publisher there will be no "pro" game out :p lets hope for a good mod :/
