Saw is scary/gruesome? :D
I liked Irreversible, it'sa fucked up French film and has a rape scene in there for like 20 minutes or some shit.

King of the ants is good, guy gets smashed around the head with a golf club and shit to try and make him braindead

Phone, the Jap film is considered scary
