if you found a cellphone (Sony-Ericsson z520i), could use it for a day (with €7 on the card) and the day after the card and the cellphone itself is blocked... so you can't do shit with anything anymore.

Throw it away?
Take it to the cops?
Throw it in a mailbox?
Try to sell it?
Burn it?
..

I'd love to know your criminal minds! =]

the average belgian is either stupid or lazy and since it was lost in Ostend, where there are alot of dutchies and uhm, southern belgians, i wouldn't guess on that!

Call the numbers on the VIP list and tell the persons that the owner of the phone just committed suicide. :D

Or place it in a trash can and call it. Then wait until someone answers and tell the guy that the phone will explode when he hangs up.

What if the previous owner is a rly hot chick?
Call some of the numbers on the simcard and say you found a phone, and her friends will guide you straight on to her. Then if she comes to pick it up, you've saved her day and she should be an easy prey :>
