i fixed the config problem and i have to connect to et through xfire now :p
but ive found my headset dont work now aswell lol, before i formatted i used a program called realtek or smth and wenever i plugeed in the headset it popped up saying the headset as been plugged in and working but i cant find the program anyone know where i can find it?

i had the problem to, the only way i could start ET was true xfire.com . but after format the problem was gone ....

grey screen = r_lastvalidrenderer is teh fucked

not sure if it helps you, just remove the lastvalidrendered cmd, ET automaticly detects it when you boot
