2. Franz Ferdinand (2 albums with same performance! n1)
3. The Strokes (all albums are n1, always nice to listen, all songs are good)
4. Arctic Monkeys (new album became a big succes but i think old is better)
5. We Are Scientists (makes me happy)

killers a lil bit out of indie i think, alt.rock/pop ... the vines also a great one!
the ordinary boys are fabulous too and so is maximo park (<3 stray talk) with the editors not to be forgotten (now that i see them being mentioned few times). razorlights great too imho
a band which isnt really indie but that u might want to try out is fury in a slaughterhouse, they have some nice songs too imo (if u find any downloads)
oh and neutral milk Hotel are brilliant too
they're even better imo :p (ignore the vid)
