sound @ et ²

when playing sometimes my et sounds, just totaaaaaaaaally change, to liek low budget, without me doing anything about it.

after a period, few minutes it changes back to normal.

I've heard several people have this problem.

Anybody has a solution for it ?


ps; everything in windows still works fine, so couldn't be my soundcard ?

when it fucks up, check what the s_khz value is and if it has dropped (kinda impossible :\)
other than that can't think of anything else than earphone problem, maybe wire is fucked up or sth

got a new steelpad 5hv2

but as I said, my windows sounds remains the same. so don't think its hardware related.

try to use some other sound settings and see if anything changes then.

if nothing changes with diff soundsettings i has to be hardware related.

update drivers or smth

check ur fps @ places ur quality drops... i get the same sometimes when i get fps drops

Had the same problem, just pull out the pink & the green cable of your headset and simply plug them back in.

is it like blurry sounds?

I have that sometimes, but it doesn't return to normal after a few minutes.

Mostly it happens when I'm on vent/ts and minimize ET and then return to ET.

kinda annoying and snd_restart isn't working.

put this in your cfg and when you have that problem just exec your autoexec.cfg

i installed old drivers, seems to work atm
