A few minutes ago I played a sit and go (poker) - $15 buy-in. So far so good, first 20 mins I had a major chiplead over my table, but then the unthinkable happens:
My hand: 7 5 of spades, no-one raised preflop.
Flop: 9s 6s 10h - I raised, only 1 guy calls
Turn: 10s - I made my flush, even chances for a straight flush - I put the other guy all-in, he calls
Showdown: he had pocket 10 (gave him a 4 of a kind)
Rivercard didnt really matter.
The very next hand: again no raising preflop, I limp in with 10 J suited.
Flop: J 10 Q - I flopped 2 pair, I decided to put it all in since i thought nothing could beat me ... only AK would make a sick str8 but there was no raising preflop so I didnt put anyone on that hand. => 1 guy calls, showdown; he had AK (still I dont get why he didnt raised preflop, this really is a hand you must raise atleast 3-4 times the bigblind)
So in 2 hands I became very very short stacked; next hand I had A Q offsuit, I really couldnt wait for a better hand so I went all in again.
The same guy who had 4 of kind 10's 2 hands ago called me.
Showdown: AQ vs 88
Flop: QQ8 (I was thinking "finally some 'luck")
Turn: A ('Yes I'm doubling up again)
Rivercard: 8 (WTF?)
I never seen this before after 6 months of online poker ....

Ofc it is bs he gets 4 of a kind again but before the flop and on the flop odds were in 88's favor. :X
Secondly the A on the turn was luck cuz now he had made a better full house. But if he'd won the pot it would have been a bad beat for the 8's seeing that pocket pair is the better hand pre flop and was big favourite after the flop also... :X
Why you would think that flop is lucky is just... is it sarcasm?
For the love of god if you ever play poker at LAN please make sure I'm playing, preferbly sat next to you :<.
edit: "only AK would make a sick str8 but there was no raising preflop so I didnt put anyone on that hand."
You can't trust what you see in lower money, and especially online, people are idiots, they do random and unpredictable stuff all the time. Online poker is mainly just about playing the winning hand and not playing when you cant win, unless you're nearing the end of a tournament or something.
we have to poker sometime again irl
Evans lost the tour :=(
