pro evo _5_ problem

i felt like going retro so i wanted to play pro evo 5 again, luckily it was rotting somewhere around my hdd, so i played it all day, but i just wanted to play a very important game vs west london white or so when the game crashed all of a sudden. so i restarted the game, menu aso worked fine, but as soon as i get the menu to meet preparations for the match like changing players aso pro evo gets stuck and wont move back nor forth. i tried watching some replay which didnt work either :/
any suggestions? need help, so i can pwn west london + get teh trophynp4methx2ubibuy

I got random freezes in pes4 and pes6, I solved the problem by playing it in windowed mode =)
