mx518 question

Recently I have seen somewhere that it is possible to remove weight from MX518 (aswell from 510 and 500). As you can see in the picture I added, the weight I'm talking about is placed just under the MX518 sticker, and I supose second one is at the upper sticker awell (both are marked with crosses, you see them don't you?) So my question is, have anyone already removed those weights from their mouses? Does that make your mouse a lot/a bit lighter? Do you think perfo/butchji did that? (thats the key question). Ah and I don't care if I will lose my warranty due that action. Here is the picture I mentioned:

Thanks in advance.

Do you think perfo/butchji did that? "ok"

nice hyperglidz btw!
yes, word on the street goes that mAus even got rid of his mousefeet to make it lighter!
do it, you'll get pro immediately afterwards!!!1
Im controlling the crosshair with my mind because the mouse is too heavy
atleast it did make mx500 a lot lighter but does the mx518 even have weights?
not sure if mx518 also has those weights, at least mx500 and mx510 had them.

Its really not that hard to remove the weight and you can easily put it back if you dont like the lighter mouse.
i openend my 518 and thought it was like mx500 with weight but surprise there was no weight,so id say there is no weight.
