pnkbstrA.exe and pnkbstrB.exe, they can take up 30/40% of your cpu

just stop them and then delete them from the system32 folder, they will be reinstalled after every pb update but whocares.

they're harmless in ET, but after playing et:qw they take up way more of your cpu. luckily i never played et:qw!

actually PB:s are connected so when you run ET then also those files are used..

yes, i have them too, but they don't take up 30% of your cpu when running ET. after playing et:qw multiple people have stated that those 2 processes would take that amount of processing power, eventhough they didn't prior to playing et:qw

i don't even have these two fuckin services running, dude.

it's NOT those.

so if lightning meant that, then it's not the problem causing the lags i have .

it can also be due to your harddrive.. i had some weird spikes once in every 10secs. Format/reinstall win helped for me.

I had it too when I played ET at my old pc. The lagometer wouldn't show no spike, the contrary: that moment it would be empty. Not even green. Was extremely annoying.
