On friday i'm leaving my gaming computer for almost a year, i'll have to survive only with my laptop, and that laptop has no proper gfx-card. Plus i'm going to Kenya, the ping would suck.

So my ET-career(tbh there was none) is ending here.

Staying for half a year, working with IFES(International Fellowship of Evangelical Students).
Kinda like mission, but not oldskool mission though. Basically hang around with Kenyan people, playing with the kids, helping out where i can, be a nice boi.

No, it's a um.. In norwegian it's directly translated to "Bible school", but it's nothing like a theological education. More of a chill year with a little more Bible than otherwise. This bibleschool in particular sends 'teams' of 4 people to various countries (kenya, uganda, serbia, brazil, etc), and 4 people from each of these countries come to Norway.. The norwegian students stay abroad for 6 months, and then come back and meet the students from the various countries. That's gonna be a cultural meltpot 2k!

Oh yeah, we have that kind of in Finland too.
I just saw a dvd of like 25 year old finnish guys which were in some kind of mission work at Kenya, it looked awesome though. :>
But in some places it could go hard, in that dvd they show about the suburbs near the capital city, houses size of a toilet next to others.
But still I'm a bit jealous :s
