CoD2 FPS

Can anyone help me out? I'm trying pretty much everything to get good fps but I cant, is there anyway to improve it?

ALSO: I'm sure I heard someone with a rly bad PC could get 125 fps on it with a certain setting?

lal my fps in cod2 is always stable 140 when sometimes it cant even get 125stable in ET...

i had stable 125 with my old pentium 4 512gb ram ati 9600

just put directx 7 and turn the settings down except the player models

turn off all programs that you dont need when playing
tweak bias get good drivers cleanup your pc overclock your video card and cpu

same here. im thinking about starting cod2. i asked in some german forums about fps in cod2.
my hardware amd duron 1,3ghz, 512mb ram, ati radeon 9550

some expert means i will get stable ~100 fps with good cfg and dx7.

i'm using raz's config (dignitas site) can get almost stable 76 with my shitpc
