The shitty problem is:

I've created a directory + fake (0bytes) pk3 with name eth.pk3 In one of clanwars i've forgot to delete it and got kicked for it. Well, I've deleted it, but i STILL get kicked for ETH.SO MD5Tool mismatch.

Wtf? I don't even have a real ETH on my pc (jaja, Linux user) o_O

You can check my yawn, check my CB profile - I'm a big time sucker and true low--, but suddenly I get kicked for cheats.. wtf? :o

If you need my demos, i can upload like 4GB of them (moar that 3k demos) and none of them is with cheats or anything

Sadly I'm not a cheater. I've busted few players also, I've never tried it neither in comp or public play. But the mistake was made just because to prove that linuxers don't get cought with real or fake or any else variant of hax. Now, after like a more than a month on one server I get kicked because of a 0byte pk3 which is called in the same way as ethook..

it was saved in /usr/local/games/enemy-territory/ and /home/zivs/.etwolf

First (after first kick today) I've deleted it from /.etwolf, after 2nd kick i've found and deleted (believe me or not, i've put it in both places because i dunno in which it have to be in case if it is a real cheat) it also in second dir, after third kick they were already deleted (before 3rd kick), but i was still getting kicked (had no system restart and et restart) :(

tought that deleting files @ linux is not required to restart application before it takes action again.. (just like all linux software updates / new programs)

If you need that then np - 4MiB/s from my provider and i've got even where to set them. Just if you'll check them all, that's a different story..

With the md5 tool checks don't they have to be the exact same hash, ie the file size of the real file?
