ETTV !

Unpatched needs ETTV :< but the corporation (actually just zink) doesn't want to provide 2.55
Although it has grown very competitive and is more a community than patched is
Unpatch has been a refuge for many patchers lately and that will never change

I dont know if you have noticed but recently the 2.55 community has actually started to grow and is generally a more welcome community for less skill full players, We have achieved several bug fixes with patches and QMM open plugin system (running on top of etpro) however we still lack any software to allow our players to watch our games live altho we already have the capabilities to host radio shoutcasts we still do not have any way to allow our viewers to watch our games.

I would like to know if it is possible to reprogram/recompile ETTV for 2.55 (or if the 2.55 sources even exist). I understand that you are not able to distribut the ettv sources in which case I would like to make a proposition.

With the help of some current 2.55 competitions we could advertise this opportunity and as there is already strong interest for ettv @ 2.55 we could raise a sizable amount of money with donations which would make this worth your while.

There is no reason to not upgrade to 2.60b. The 2.55 client and server are both buggy, and you can't fix clients with QMM. We have no plans to release anything for 2.55 ever. Upgrade already.
