Headset echo

i was trying out some configs last night and today everything i hear has an echo
is there any way to reset the sound propeties for your pc
and if uve had the same problem tell me what u did

its the normal plugs snd_restart doesnt do anything =[

i lost my sounds @ et when i tried some cfg... i had to reinstall et.
