yes, but like in video cards, when you have LE for low edition or GT for great edition :S

LG FLATRON L1952TQ
Have they invented a TFT monitor that can handle more than one resolution yet?
have they invented a CRT that isn't blurred?
Parent
Yes, non-budget ones designed for professional use.

but I can use lower reso's decently, I just put on some AA :p
looks about the same as higher reso without AA, imo even better (its a bit more like smoother or sth, feels better to play)

I made some pictures also:

r_mode 6 , 4x AA (click to enlarge):

r_mode 8 , 0x AA (click to enlarge):

as you can see, 4x AA r_mode 6 has the same fps as r_mode 8 and r_mode 6 looks even better, even though r_mode 8 is my LCD's native resolution.

hahah, we can't see what it looks like on your screen by you taking screenshots mate :D
Parent
it looks pretty :D
Parent
I dare you to take a photo of r_mode 4 with no AA.
Parent
why would I, I don't want r_mode 4 and no AA :p
Parent
Because r_mode 4 IS THE SHIT!?!?

I would use 800x500 if I could, except this LCD seems to hate custom resolutions.
Parent
Don't play in 1024x768 on a 1280x1024 native monitor hahah.

1280x1024 = 5:4
1024x765 = 4:3

Different aspect ratios, use a custom mode and the fov calculator

i dont play in 6, just showing
