torrentspy

i read that some angry suits had ordered torrentspy to log all IP addresses.

now i like torrentspy for stuff like films/tv shows, but if the feds are gonna emocrush me for doing this now, then i will find something else.

is that site 'safe' to use?

Torrent spy has been busted before..
who cares, i has a dynamic ip lolol , btw i use that site everyday to download something :D
think dynamic IP will help you? you ISP logs every time you connect and it logs the IP that you have been asigned
Parent
dynamic IP doesn't help when your ISP is logging the leases on their DHCP server.
Parent
well they cant bust "everyone" :D
Parent
They primarily go after distributors.
Parent
too bad we couldn't see ISP logs of Italy ferrari..
Parent
if you get busted just say that you have a dynamic ip, and that someone from your town has been downloading. it worked when netcoders got owned.
fuck, i use this as primary site

aXXo posts everything there

:-( utorrent

e: my version is fine (1.6)
Parent
All versions of µTorrent are fine. Anyone saying anything else is a moron. 1.7.2 (don't use 1.7.0 or 1.7.1) is stable and has quite a few nice improvements over 1.6.1.

Peerguardian - effective as a tinfoil hat I believe
Parent
cheap, effective and water proof?
Parent
Tinfoil hat > Peerguardian.

It won't block legitimate connections.

woudln't use it anymore, if you dled excessively after the feds case, I would suggest putting your warex into a truecrypt partition (like me, if you haven't done so already)... should make it harder for them :)
