codecs? wtf

I just downloaded mAx chapter 3 but when i tried playing it i hear sound only.
So I downloaded the latest K-lite codepack.

So far i've tried playing .avi .mp4 .mkv movies but ONLY the sound i hear. I have no video :( the screen stays black.

Yes I am using Classic Mediaplayer.

Is there anything i forgot? plz help me fix this!

First download and install http://www.instalki.pl/programy/download/kodeki/get.php?file=allin1

Next/next/next etc. dont change anything

After all codec pack


Then downl and install http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/MatroskaSplitter.exe


Before downloading and installing remove all codecs

k-lite pack sux rly bad, i used it once, all my movies were turned for 180°, and they were all pink

no that simply means your setup sucked balls

k-lite codec pack is pretty nice tbh


also note klcp doesn't include QT Lite which is the replacement for QuickTime Alternative.

Use the Insurgent to detect all the junk you have installed, so you can get rid of it. Then install the filter pack.
