Ulti-mat

I've just bought an ulti-mat pad but it's bent, a 'bump' going across the whole pad.
Of course putting heavy books on it was the first thought, which did NOT do the trick.

Anyone have any ideas or tricks?
Since the underside is made of rubber, which prolly is the reason it's bumped, I was thinking about heat.. since rubber deform from heat..

Bad idea?

I have the same, but I just keep my keyboard on the pad so it's not really a problem because I still got enough space.

Well this is almost in the middle of the pad, so having the keyboard on the pad would take away the idea of having this large pad anyway.

But I didn't have an iron in mind.
Raher to put the pad hanging in the window. Since the pad is black, it'll get really warm.
And afterwards put it on a table with books on it, but I'm not sure if can get deformed even more, so I figured maybe someone have had this problem earlier and tried.

hmm when its possible to deform it it should be possible to correct it. just try it. u cant play like that anyway :o so give it a try imo:)

ulti-mat original is meant to be a little bumped... if you put the mouse + your hand on it, it will be flat... (got that straight from the maker.... #ulti-mat.com/org/net.... or something)

i used flat iron, when i had same prob and it works. but dont melt it!
