difference is that people from holland won't be able to understand us if we are speaking vlaams! Or atleast not west-vlaams ( thats the dialect from my region, its even more fucked up to understand )

I'm only trying to remotely explain the fact to a non-dutch or -belgian person. This example is commonly used.
