et prob repost

i still have an etprob. when i connect to a server it crashes on the awaiting gamestate, no error it just crashes. its not a PB problem, and its not a firewall problem. all the pb stuff is allowed on my firewall and i have tried to connect to a server with my firewalll turned off. it happens on all servers pb or non-pb and it also happens on quake3.

anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? or at least what has caused it?

edit: still no fix for my problem :( c'mon xfire there's proably enough computer knowledge here to build a pc, i just wanna know how to fix mine :)
