Depends, The main thing that is good about the 5H (i'm wearing one now :O!) is the 7.1 External Soundcard. (thx2sol)

If you have 7.1, then the V1 is what you want, as it is cheaper normally..

Rly good headshet. Doesnt hurt the ears even after 15hours of playing. Good for music too.

Just a lil' expensive, but worth it imo

in my oppinion, the Steelsound 5H v2 USB:

+ wont hurt your ears like other headsets
+ its easy to transport (can be dismantled into 3 seperate pieces)
+ adjustable mic
+ surround sound
+ own soundcard

- quality of the mic is quite poor

I've been using it for 7/8months now, it's still fine meaning no damage etc
I know its more expensive, but compared to other cheaper headsets, it's still alive and working as it should be :)
