everything that is dubbed is just retarded. remember seeing simpsons from tv while I was in austria, homer's voice was a joke.

I think it's a question of getting used to it... I personally do like the Simpsons in german more than in english.

Additionally, watching movies/series/TV in a language u don"t speak (assuming u don't speak german) sucks at all, at least in my opinion &)

yep definitely, dubbing kills the movie/game/whatever
i cant imagine how Germans can watch everything dubbed..
guess its just a case of getting used to it :-) but still, i prefer watching in english with/without subtitles 100x more than with dubbing
e.g. if i had to watch LOTR in dubbed version I would kill myself xD

there is an exception though - films like Shrek (imo ofc) - at least in poland. we had great dubbers (dubbing guys/the ones who dubb, i mean :P) and it was fantastic
