Northern Assasination Tour 2007

Just returned from one of the best september's metal show - "Northern Assasination Tour"! \o/

ROTTING CHRIST (Black/gothic Metal, Greece),
KRISIUN (Brutal Death Metal, Brazil),
INCANTATION (Death Metal, USA),
CRIONICS (Death/Black Metal, Poland).

Must say that was really impressed by bands which I haven't heard much before, like Crionics and Incantation. Did know and have heard Rotting Christ music, but never tough that they are SO great @ Live.. Sadly, due to transport problems, had to leave concert before Krisiun played. That was the most awaited band for me.. :( Atleast bought few new t-shirts with participating band logos and stuff..

Recommend to Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Germany metalheads to visit this tour - it's worth teh money! <3

I don't really care. They feel quite alien to me as well. Hence of what I'm not on many channels ran by Poles or polish channels at all. :F

Real life poles or _notfps_playingpoles are a different story tho.

I say that this music (pop music in general) makes me first think of pussy boys with pink t-shirts and funny haircuts (not emo hair cuts) who walk like they've got cucumbers in their armpits and were the c00lest guys around da hood (sorry, hood is more to nigga wannabe's)... you've got the idea. Just as you think of metalheads like satan worshippers and dirty sanchez's who never wash and never cut their hair.. :)

there is a big difference between artistic metal and bands who might as well look for lyrics in hate spam generators.

it's not that i hate metal in general, i like music depending on the song, not on its genre. and i dont think i've seen more trash songs in the metal genre than in any other. 1% of songs are acctually a bit esthetic, the rest is mostly random rambling.

that's where you are wrong... what you describe as random rambling actually takes years of hard practice to learn. And it also helps to have an understanding of musical theory to embrace the music as it's ment to be.

djing takes years of practice, but just creating sets never gets anyone real attention, its creating new songs or redoing old unknown songs. creating sets live is hard enough, but its not appreciated and even unnoticed (noone really goes to a party to listen to the transitions between songs).

but i dont want to get into a deeper discussion about metal. if you like it go support them, i know i wont ever buy a metal cd or go to a metal concert.

I'd say the average metal guitarist has nothing on the average jazz player. Some/most of the uber metal guitar players have jazz/classical education anyway :L
