strange lag spikes

Hello, I got this rather weird problem. I have pretty annoying lag spikes whenever I change weapons or use my fov toggle, for the rest I'm lag free (except for the usual fps lag). Any Ideas on how to fix this? Thx in advance.

Does youre cl_maxpackets changes from 100 to 40 or someting? That can also be the problem. I had that also, when i deleted the "maxpackets lame" i had no lag..

yeah i had et changing maxpackets to 40 few days ago. that was because of those punkbuster issues or smth.
